If you have loved ones here get them to a different facility as soon as possible. We had to move my mother to a secure facility and right now, she is at the Mesa Vista Health Center. She has an individual room, which is pretty awesome. It's a nice space, and they just remodeled it and painted it.
All have been very caring, helpful and friendly. I've eaten in the dining room and although the menu is varied some of the items could use a little imagination to make them tastier....such as the Brussels sprouts. I know frozen foods are less expensive than fresh and some of them can also be handled better than heating in a microwave such as the crab cake. I might be off base but wanted to give constructive input. It is interesting the serving size for guests is about child size.
Long Term Services & Supports
According to teh nurses daily reports she was doing well. A nurse very flatly without compassion or for thought announced your mother just died. She then proceeded to bombard with with questions. I asked her if she could give me a moment to collect my thoughts. She responmded, "if this is too much I can call you back". Her attitude worened the fact that my mother had just passed.
They’re very informative and very friendly. They keep him busy, like today they’re going to have a barbecue for the fathers for Father’s Day. They also have bingo and things like that. I liked the atmosphere, and I would recommend this place.

Over the past year, I have had a client as a resident of Mesa Vista of Boulder and his family, I honestly have been blown away by the care and the caring of this facility's staff. Everyone was so caring and kind to my client and so very helpful to me to be able to make his end-of-life experience comfortably, easy and positive for him and his family. Not only is the staff amazing, but the facility itself is great.

She's already had two meals, and it's decent food. They have a physical therapy room, the dining room is nice, and they have a living area where they get out together and watch TV. They have very nice landscaping and there are patios. I placed my mother into this facility for care after a lengthy hospital stay.
Everyone, from all the nurses to the cleaning staff, made an effort to know him. The staff continually worked to accommodate his wishes and mine. When the end was near, they eased his passing with love and genuine care. Yes, the building is old but appearance isn't what counts. The staff was stellar and that's what matters!
The way the visitors were communicating with the residents was through their window. When I was sitting on the patio, I could see that there was a family visiting with their loved one through the window. They were just taking all precautions because of the COVID. She shared a room, but I chose that option for her. Team members at Mesa Vista of Boulder customize care plans for each individual, and we do everything we can to ensure residents live comfortably during their last chapter of life. We are a part of the Creative Solutions in Healthcare family network.
Nursing homes provide medical care, room, and board to individuals of all ages on a short-term or long-term basis. Patients recovering from an illness or surgery often go to a skilled nursing facility to recuperate before returning home. Nursing homes also provide long-term care to individuals requiring 24-hour nursing or custodial care. All nursing homes are licensed and regulated by state governments.
We believe that a lifestyle of leisure also promotes overall wellness. Our personalized, person-directed programs are designed using each individual’s social history as a foundation. Lifelong familiar activities provide structure and routine, stimulate brain function, encourage social interaction, and promote wellness. We believe in providing residents and guests with a safe and comfortable environment.
Residents are under the care of a physician, and all nursing homes have a physician on call to respond to acute needs, write prescriptions, and order treatments and tests. Rehabilitation may include physical, occupational, recreational, and speech therapies. Residents receive assistance with personal care such as bathing, meals, dressing and toileting.
